Understanding Local Government
Friday, March 2, 2018
Minnesota’s local units of government are the backbone of the service delivery systems for countless government programs costing  billions of dollars. Cities, Counties and School District are critical players at the State Capitol and intersect with almost every aspect of government.

Our speakers for Lobbyist 101 this week will be the senior policy and government affairs staff from the League of Cities, Association of Counties and the Minnesota School Boards Association.

You’ll have a chance learn to how these players approach the legislative process and lawmakers to have success for the elected officials they represent.

Gary Carlson, League of Minnesota Cities
Grace Keliher, Minnesota School Boards Association
Anne Kilzer, Association of Minnesota Counties

MGRC's Lobbyist 101 Series is free and open to anyone interested in attending. There is no need to pre-register. If you have questions please contact Joel Carlson at [email protected] or Leah Sweet at [email protected].
